Disclosed is a rotary motor 100 comprising a plurality of vanes 40, an inner rotary member 50 housing the vanes, a lobe member 30 encompassing the inner rotary member and the vanes, a plurality of chambers and one or more end plates 21, 22 to enclose the vanes, inner rotary member, lobe member and the chambers. Each of the chambers is encompassed by an inner surface of the lobe member and an outer surface of the inner rotary member. Each of the vanes is split into two sub-vanes 41, 42. One or more elastic members 411 may be provided to bias the two sub-vane parts in opposite directions. In the embodiments an elastic member is configured to push each of the sub-vanes forming a vane toward an end plate to form a seal between the sub-vane and the end plate. |
