PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire and a cable using a non-halogen flame-retardant resin composition which is excellent in flame retardancy, thermal aging resistance and safety and is useful as a cable insulation material.SOLUTION: In a wire consisting of a conductor comprising 100 pts. mass of a polyolefin resin, 100-250 pts. mass of a metal hydroxide and 2-5 pts. mass of an antioxidant of a melting point of 200°C or higher and an average particle size of 10 μm or smaller and an optionally an other antioxidant, the wire composed of the non-halogen flame-retardant resin composition has a toxicity index (ITC) of 3.0 or smaller. |
