A transmitting apparatus (100) transmits a data stream using aggregation links (#1 and #2). A transmitting apparatus (100) includes a storage unit (110), a dividing unit (120), and a distributing unit (130). The storage unit (110) acquires a guaranteed rate (A1) to be guaranteed for the data stream. A dividing unit (120) divides traffic of the data stream into guaranteed traffic (101a) corresponding to the guaranteed rate (A1) acquired by the storage unit (110) and excess traffic (101b) corresponding to a portion of the traffic exceeding the guaranteed rate (A1). The distributing unit (130) distributes the guaranteed traffic (101a) obtained by the dividing unit (120) to at least any one of the aggregation links (#1 and #2) preferentially over the excess traffic (101b). The distributing unit (130) distributes the excess traffic (101b) to available bandwidth of the aggregation links (#1 and #2). |
