The present invention relates to a method for extracting hypericin from Hypericum perforatum, and more specifically, to a method for extracting hypericin from Hypericum perforatum comprising the following steps: extracting Hypericum perforatum crushed materials using a 75 percent ethanol solution; and preparing ethyl acetate fractions by adding ethyl acetate to the ethanol solution prepared by the extraction step and fractioning the same. The extraction method of the present invention can isolate the hypericin from the Hypericum perforatum with high purity and yield, thereby being widely used in various industries related to medicines and functional foods using the hypericin. |
