<p>The present invention relates to a control apparatus and a control method for an automatic tool changer capable of reducing work process time and securing stability by selecting a rotating speed of twin arms at a certain ratio depending on the weight of a tool when changing the tool. The present invention comprises: a weight sensor outputting as an electric signal by sensing the weight of a tool; a control portion outputting a control signal to operate the rotating speed of twin arms by dividing into a super high speed, a high speed, and a low speed depending on the weight of a tool; and a twin arms operating motor operating the twin arms in accordance with an outputting signal of the control.</p> |
