<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic core having excellent bending strength at a room temperature where damage is not caused when handling the ceramic core or carrying out injection molding in manufacturing a wax model, having excellent bending strength at a high temperature which endures deformation or damage in casting such as pouring or solidification, and allowing the core to be easily eluted. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the ceramic core in which 0.5-35.0 mass% of zircon powder, 0.1-15.0 mass% of alumina powder, and a remaining part of fused silica powder with an average particle diameter of 5-35μm containing 5-30 mass% of coarse particles with a particle size of≥50μm are sintered. The ceramic core has relative density of 60-80%, bending strength of≥10 MPa at 25°C, and bending strength of≥5 MPa at 1,550°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
