<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure and construction method for integrally placing a new skeleton in contact with an existing skeleton, as earthquake strengthening for an existing RC construction. <P>SOLUTION: A reinforcement steel plate 4 having an anchor hole 4a with a dimension through which a hole-in anchor 3 can be loosely inserted and a number of cotter slots 4b is bonded to a surface of an existing skeleton 1. The hole-in anchor is driven into the existing skeleton through the anchor hole. Concrete is then placed on the surface of the existing skeleton to form a new skeleton 2, so that the anchor hole and the cotter slots are filled with the concrete to form a shear cotter between the existing skeleton and the new skeleton. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
