<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control so that a series of treatments, conducted by a furnace top apparatus for charging a raw material into a blast furnace, from the discharge of a raw material to the charge thereof into the blast furnace can be efficiently conducted. <P>SOLUTION: The raw material level indicating the position of the upper end face of the raw material in the blast furnace from a reference level is acquired, and the timing at which the acquired raw material level reaches a prescribed level is decided as that at which dumping indicating the charge of the raw material into the furnace is started. When the raw material transit time indicating the time required for transit from discharge of the raw material from a discharge tank to a furnace top hopper storing the raw material is longer than a dumping time required for dumping, a dumping start time is estimated based on the change amount per unit time of the raw material level in the furnace. A device for controlling the charge of the blast furnace raw material is composed to decide a faster timing than the estimated dumping start time as the timing for starting the discharge of the raw material from the discharge tank. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
