<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting the abnormality of a hydraulic cylinder for going up and down of a converter skirt. <P>SOLUTION: The oil pressures of the hydraulic cylinders 4, when the converter skirt 3 is lifted up, are each measured, and the oil pressure difference between the hydraulic cylinders is obtained, and when the obtained oil pressure difference exceeds the predetermined threshold, it is determined that the hydraulic cylinders are abnormal. Further, together with the measurement of the oil pressure difference, the inclination of the converter skirt 3 is measured by using a CCD camera 10, and when the obtained inclination exceeds the predetermined threshold, it is determined that the hydraulic cylinders 4 are abnormal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
