The internal combustion engine (101) comprises an engine block (102) with a cylinder (306) and a piston. An injector unit has multiple holes for injecting fuel into the cylinder. An inlet unit (103) has an inlet channel and an inlet valve. An outlet unit (105) is provided for exhaust gas. The outlet unit has an outlet channel and an outlet valve. The cylinder is designed for an injection pressure of 100 bar for multiple holes for a passage of fuel.
