Disclosed are a counter electrode for dye-sensitized solar cell and a method for manufacturing the same. A method for manufacturing a counter electrode for dye-sensitized solar cell according to an aspect of the present invention includes a step of preparing a conductive substrate; a step of forming at least one groove on a side of the conductive substrate; a step of forming a photoresist on a side of the conductive substrate to fill the groove with the photoresist; a step of emitting light to the conductive substrate to allow photoresist formed on the conductive substrate to react with light and allow photoresist filled in the groove to have no reaction to the light; a step of developing the conductive substrate to remove the photoresist reacting with the light; and a step of depositing platinum on the conductive substrate which has the groove filled with the photoresist.
