PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper container for microwave ovens which can prevent scorching of the container during cooking in a microwave oven and has good stacking properties.SOLUTION: A paper container for microwave ovens consists a tapered-cylinder-like trunk member 2 with the lower opening part being smaller in diameter than the upper opening part and a bottom member 3 which is formed with a short cylindrical bent part 4 bent downward, in its outer peripheral edge part. The bottom member 3 is engaged in the lower part of the trunk member 2, and the lower end part 5 of the trunk member 2 is folded inward in such a way as to hold the short cylindrical bent part 4 of the bottom member 3. The held part is heat-crimped to form a cylindrical joint part 6. The cylindrical joint part 6 is narrowed down inward to bend in such a direction as to be superimposed on the bottom surface part 7 of the bottom member 3. |
