<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process cartridge that can secure a stable contact state of a developing roller with a photosensitive drum and attain excellent contact/separation of the developing roller with/from the photosensitive drum. <P>SOLUTION: A process cartridge 3 comprises: a drum cartridge 7 including a photosensitive drum 5 on which an electrostatic latent image is formed and drum bearings 31 and 32 for rotatably supporting axial end parts of the photosensitive drum 5, respectively; and a developing cartridge 9 which includes a developing roller 8 and is attachably/detachably mounted on the drum cartridge 7. The developing roller 8 is movable between a contact position at which the roller comes into contact with the photosensitive drum 5 and a spaced position at which the roller is spaced from the photosensitive drum 5, in a state in which the developing cartridge 9 is mounted on the drum cartridge 7. The drum bearings 31 and 32 include support parts 61 and 68 for supporting axial end parts of the developing roller 8 moving between the contact position and the spaced position, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
