<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road side device capable of narrowing down arithmetic targets thereof and performing efficient arithmetic processing to accomplish reducing a processing load of the road side device, power consumption, and delay of service. <P>SOLUTION: A road side device of the present invention periodically collects state information from a plurality of mobile station devices, determines the necessity of the mobile station device in an area of the road side device starting providing information, and orders the mobile station device determined to be necessary for providing to start providing information. The road side device includes: first communication means which communicates with the mobile station device in the area of the road side device; and second communication means which communicates with other road side devices. The road side device manages the state information of the respective mobile station devices in the area of the road side device and the state information of the respective mobile station devices in the area of the other road side devices, determines a target of arithmetic processing on the basis of communication state information of communications between mobile stations included in the state information of the mobile station device in the area of the road side device, and determines the necessity of starting providing the information using the state information of the mobile station device and the other mobile station device which is communicating with the mobile station device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
