<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll type compressor in which an eccentric shaft is separated from a drive shaft, a bush is attached to the eccentric shaft, and, in particular, a space in the thrust direction between a head part forming a stopper part and the bush is adequately determined. <P>SOLUTION: The scroll type compressor 1 includes: a fixed scroll member 20 for forming a spiral wall 20c on an end plate 20a; a turning scroll member 21 which is engaged with the fixed scroll member 20 to form a compression chamber 27, and to form a spiral wall 21c on the end plate 21a; a revolution mechanism 45 which revolves the turning scroll member 21, and has at least an eccentric shaft, a bush, and an Oldham's ring; and a drive shaft 12 for giving the rotational force to the revolution mechanism 45. A through-hole 47 is formed in the bush. A fitting hole 46 is formed in the axial direction at an end face of the drive shaft 12. The eccentric shaft forms an eccentric shaft 23 having a head.
