The present invention relates to a secondary battery case and a method for manufacturing a secondary battery. It includes a can of receiving an electrode assembly and a top cap of sealing the upper opening of the can. The top cap includes a top plate of sealing the upper opening of the can, an injection hole which penetrates the top plate to inject electrolyte into the can, and a protruding part which protrudes from the top plate in the upper part of the injection part. The protruding part is inserted into the injection hole to seal the injection hole. According to the present invention, the protruding part protrudes from the top plate. Thus, the protruding part can seal the injection hole by inserting the same into the injection hole of the top plate. A member for sealing the injection hole is integrated with the top plate. Thus, manufacturing cost and process can be simplified. |
