<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-mounting substrate connection terminal capable of avoiding trouble caused by a contact failure while suppressing an increase in a scale, and thus, achieving both of securing reliability and downsizing at a high level.SOLUTION: A connection terminal 1 is produced by bending and forming a female fitting part 6 at one end side of a metal plate material and by bending and forming a male fitting part 7 at another end side, and is used as a common component for connecting first and second printed circuit boards 2 and 3. The female fitting parts 6 of the connection terminals 1 are soldered onto wiring patterns 2a and 3a of the first and second printed circuit boards 2 and 3, respectively, and the male fitting parts 7 are projected laterally from the upper parts of the printed circuit boards 2 and 3, respectively. When both the printed circuit boards 2 and 3 are disposed adjacently to each other, the female fitting parts 6 and the male fitting parts 7 of the connection terminals 1 are made to face each other in a direction orthogonal to a neighboring direction and when both the printed circuit boards 2 and 3 are relatively moved, the male fitting parts 7 are fitted into the opposite-side female fitting parts 6 with elasticity.</p> |
