<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor device with a speed reduction mechanism which can prevent generation of abnormal noise from the meshing part of each gear due to a load to follow, and to provide an electric seat device for a vehicle using the motor device with the speed reduction mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: In the motor device with a speed reduction mechanism, the speed reduction mechanism is housed in a housing section formed by stacking a gear case 10 (first case) and a gear cover 20 (second case), an output wheel 35 is pivoted rotatably by means of the gear case 10 and the gear cover 20, and the torque of an electric motor is output through the speed reduction mechanism.
