<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter for the fuel supply port of a fuel injection valve, which suppresses the cost of manufacturing, prevents contaminant from intruding into a fuel injection valve, and can be firmly attached to the fuel supply port without being affected by a weld line formed during molding a filter. <P>SOLUTION: The filter 10 comprises a support member 20 comprising a resin molded article and a cylindrical mesh member 40 supported by the support member. The support member 20 comprises a body 22, a flange 24, a plurality of columns 26 and a bottom 28. The flange 24 includes a wall 32, a blanked hole 34 formed on the inner circumference of the wall 32, and an engaging pawl 36 formed inside the wall 32, approximately matched with the blanked hole 34 along an axial direction.
