<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound masking system that can form a masked area more effectively and a masker sound emitting device. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of masker sound emitting devices 1, 2 and 3 capable of emitting masker sounds to mask ambient sounds are connected to be communicable with one another. The masker sound emitting device 1 acquires the positions of the other masker sound emitting devices 2 and 3, and acquires masked areas 101 and 102 of the masker sounds emitted by the other masker sound emitting devices 2 and 3. The masker sound emitting device 1 detects, on the basis of the acquired positions and sound emission ranges, positional relationships among the masked areas 100, 101 and 102 of the masker sound emitted by itself and the masker sounds emitted by the other masker sound emitting devices 2 and 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
