<p>A process for preparing an aqueous liquid fabric conditioning composition comprising a water insoluble ester-linked quaternary ammonium softening active, and a water soluble quaternary ammonium surfactant, wherein the process comprises the step of dispersing the water soluble quaternary ammonium surfactant in water before the addition of the water insoluble ester-linked quaternary ammonium softening active to the water, leads to improved storage stability at elevated temperatures.</p> |
