<p>The present invention provides a lead-free piezoelectric ceramics with temperature stability and a piezoelectric element by using the same. Piezoelectric ceramics includes an oxide as a principal component expressed with a general fomula: sA1B1O_3-t(Bi·A2)TiO_3-(1-s-t)BaMO_3 (However, A1 is a type of element selected from an alkali metal; B1 includes at least Nb as a type of transition metal element; A2 is a type of element selected from an alkali metal; and M is a type of 4A element including Zr) wherein the general formula, s and t are 0.905<=s<=0.918 and 0.005<=t<=0.02, respectively, and the piezoelectric constant, d33(25) at 25°C and another one, d33(200) at 200°C satisfy the relation of (d33_(25)-d33_(200))/d33_(25)<=0.13.</p> |
