<p>An image acquisition method and an apparatus are disclosed. According to various embodiments, the image acquisition method for an object comprises the operations of: obtaining a first preparation image and a second preparation image for the object through image sensors functionally connected to an electronic device; deciding a candidate light-emitting time associated with acquisition of an output image for the object, based on the difference between status information on at least part of the first preparation image and status information on at least part of the second preparation image; comparing the candidate light-emitting time with a time corresponding to a tuned period during which a plurality of lines constituting the image sensors acquire the output image simultaneously; and acquiring the output image for the object based on the result of the comparing, wherein the the operation of acquiring the output image may include a controlling operation for turning on a light-emitting module functionally connected to the electronic device during the candidate light-emitting time in the tuned period when the candidate light-emitting time is equal to, or less than, the time corresponding to the tuned period.
