<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a column of a unit room which is compact and allowed to stand on floor panel so as not to be fallen so that the column can be first assembled to a ceiling. <P>SOLUTION: The column 14 disposed at the corner portion of the floor panel 12 includes a first long piece 14A connected to the end edge of one wall panel 18, a second long piece 14B connected to the end edge of the other wall panel 18, and a fixing piece 14C formed on the first long piece 14A. The column 14 is lower in material use amount than a column with a closed section such as a rectangular column. The column 14 is allowed to stand on the floor panel 12 so as not to be fallen by inserting screws 28 through mounting holes 22 formed in the fixing piece 14C and fixing the screws to the flange part 12B of the floor panel 12.
