<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable downsizing of an optical scanner and improve attachment accuracy of a scanning lens. <P>SOLUTION: An optical scanner comprises: a light source; a deflector that reflects a laser beam from the light source and deflects it in a main scanning direction; a scanning lens (a second cylindrical lens 60C) that transmits the laser beam deflected by the deflector; and a casing 100 that houses the light source, the deflector and the scanning lens. The casing 100 includes; a support wall 110 that supports the deflector; and a side wall 120 that is arranged upright from the support wall 110. The support wall 110 includes a lens fixing part 115 in which a fixing surface 116 for fixing the scanning lens with a light curing resin is provided in a manner facing the side wall 120 through the scanning lens. The side wall 120 includes an aperture 121 that is provided at a portion facing the lens fixing part 115 and communicates the inside of the casing 100 to the outside thereof. Furthermore, the optical scanner comprises a light detection unit 80 that is attached to the side wall 120 and covers the aperture 121. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
