The present invention relates to an apparatus of protecting a submarine cable. The present invention includes: an upper body (11) which is installed to the upper submarine surface (b) of a trench (c) formed in the bottom of a submarine surface (b) and covers the upper part of the trench (c); a lower body (15) which is extended from the lower part of the upper body (11) to be inserted into the trench (c) and is arranged on the upper part of a submarine cable (d) arranged on the bottom surface of the trench (c); and a support part (19) which is formed in the edge of a lower body (15), is installed to the wall surface of the trench (c) when the lower body (15) is inserted into the trench (c), and fixes the upper body (11) to the submarine surface (b). The present invention secures tolerance to an upper force such as typhoon and ocean wave to safely protect a submarine cable, and facilitates the installation and separation of the cable in/from the trench. |
