The present invention relates to a reinforcement apparatus for a masonry wall and a reinforcement method for a masonry wall using the same removing both ends of a masonry wall which comes to contact with both columns to reduce a risk of collapse of the masonry wall due to an infilled effect and applying pretension using steel wires in order to maximize a reinforcement effect. According to the present invention, the reinforcement apparatus for a masonry wall to reinforce the masonry wall is formed between the columns and has a space spaced from the columns in an edge near the columns in both end parts of the masonry wall. The reinforcement apparatus for a masonry wall includes: an angle member fixated and installed in the both columns around the center of the masonry wall; and a pretension steel wire unit where both ends are coupled to two angle members where both side columns respectively are installed and including reinforcement steel wires installed to enable predetermined tension to be applied. |
