<p>Provided is a powder coating apparatus which coats the surface of an object by spraying powder coating materials on the coating object like a progressing steel plate under (low) vacuum. The powder coating apparatus includes a device chamber which includes the coating object or through which the coating object passes, a coating material spraying unit which sprays the powder coating material supplied to the device chamber with gas pressure on the coating object, and a coating material collecting unit which supplies the powder coating material to be sprayed by re-circulating the powder coating material in the coating material spraying unit by collecting the powder coating material which falls after the collision with the coating object on the outline of the coating material spraying unit. According to the present invention, the steel plate which is the object is efficiently coated by using the minimum amount of the power coating materials by collecting and re-circulating the powder coating materials sprayed on the object in the same equipment. The reduction of costs is maximized and the operation rate of the equipment is improved.</p> |
