<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nylon 66 fiber for airbags having a light weight, excellent in housing ability, having high environmental stability with low air permeability and excellent in high speed developing performance, while keeping mechanical characteristics as an airbag. <P>SOLUTION: The nylon 66 fiber for airbags has a total fiber fineness of 150-550 dtex, a single yarn fineness of 0.8-8 dtex, a tensile strength of not less than 7.5 cN/dtex, and a terminal amino group concentration of 25-60% based on the total terminal group concentration which is the sum total of terminal amino group concentration and terminal carboxyl group concentration, and contains 1-1,500 ppm organic compound having a hydroxyl group or groups and a phenyl group or groups in the molecule. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
