<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker enabling appropriate heating of a container to be heated and enabling efficient heat cooking. <P>SOLUTION: The heating cooker 1 has heating means 41 located below the bottom plate part 5 of a rice cooking pot 2 in a heating chamber 3. The heating means 41 is composed of a plurality of long bottom-plate carbon heaters 42 located parallel to one another. Disposed below the heating means 41 is a reflector 51 that reflects an infrared ray from each of the bottom-plate carbon heaters 42 toward the bottom plate part 5 of the rice cooking pot 2.
