<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method for presenting information which help a user achieve a target by dividing a prescribed target into a plurality of sections and presenting exercise information of other users according to the divided targets. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU of an information presenting apparatus acquires user information, body information, and period information of a specific user (S22-S25), and calculates and presents a target BMI (body mass index) value (S26). The CPU allows the specific user to perform a selection from a plurality of types of patterns for dividing the target information (S27), and divides a diet process that the specific user performs towards the target BMI value from an initial BMI value within a target period, into a plurality of sections (S28). The CPU determines a target user for each section according to a small target (first-fourth target BMI values obtained by dividing between from the initial BMI value to the target BMI value) and presents exercise information that the target user has, to the specific user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
