<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the rolling resistance performance while suppressing the deterioration of the noise performance by improving a profile of a belt layer. <P>SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire 1 contains a carcass 6 extending from a tread part 2 to a bead core 5 of a bead portion 4 via sidewall portions 3, and a belt layer 7 made up of at least two belt plies 7A, 7B which are arranged on the outside in the tire radius direction of the carcass 6 and on the inside of a tread part 2.
