<p>A castor wheel assembly is described including a castor wheel and a support arm for supporting the castor wheel for rotation about a generally horizontal axis, the support arm being configured to permit the castor wheel to swivel about a swivel axis which is substantially perpendicular to the wheel axis and off-set therefrom. The castor wheel has a hub comprised of a first hub part and a second hub part, the first and second hub parts being connected to each other and defining a cavity therebetween. Also described is a castor wheel assembly including a castor wheel and a support arm for supporting the castor wheel for rotation about a generally horizontal axis, the support arm being configured to permit the castor wheel to swivel about a swivel axis which is substantially perpendicular to the wheel axis and off-set therefrom. The castor wheel is supported on an axle via a bearing, said bearing being supported by a bearing support member and wherein the bearing support member is connected to a side of the castor wheel remote from the support arm.</p> |
