PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof cellulose sheet composed of fine cellulose fibers which has properties peculiar to cellulose such as heat resistance, chemical resistance, high elastic modulus and high adsorption performance derived from high surface activity, and has high porosity and high durability to water.SOLUTION: A waterproof cellulose sheet comprises a nonwoven fabric composed of fine cellulose fibers having a number average fiber diameter of 500 nm or less and satisfies all the following requirements (1) to (4): (1) a weight ratio of the fine cellulose fibers of 1 wt.% or more and 99 wt.% or less, (2) a porosity of 50% or more, (3) a tensile strength corresponding to a basis weight of 10 g/mof 6 N/15 mm or more, and (4) a ratio of dry tensile strength to wet tensile strength of 50% or more. |
