PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording apparatus able to appropriately discharge a recording medium having been subjected to recording.SOLUTION: The recording apparatus includes: paper discharge rollers 44 (first conveying rollers) which convey a paper sheet P along a holding surface 61 of a holding portion for holding a paper sheet P having been subjected to recording in a standing state; a pick-up roller 50 (second roller) prepared at a position opposed to the holding surface 61 in a downstream side with respect to the paper discharge rollers 44, the pick-up roller 50 conveying the paper sheet P having passed through between the discharge rollers 44; and a controller which controls conveyance drive of the pick-up roller 50. Here, the controller: makes the pick-up roller 50 perform conveyance drive during a period of time from a time point when a rear end of the paper sheet P has passed through between the paper discharge rollers 44 until the rear end of the paper sheet P separates from the paper discharge rollers 44; and stops the conveyance drive of the pick-up roller 50 at an optional timing during a period of time from a time point when the rear end of the paper sheet P has separated from the paper discharge rollers 44 until the rear end of the paper sheet P passes through the pick-up roller 50. |
