PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide glossy paper for inkjet recording having high surface gloss equal to silver halide photo printing paper while having favorable ink absorbency of dye ink and pigment ink and image clearness, and excellent in transportability and scratch resistance in transportation in an inkjet printer in the glossy paper for ink jet recording.SOLUTION: In the glossy paper for inkjet recording, a gloss developing layer containing gas phase method silica is provided on at least one surface of base paper, and a protection layer of the gloss developing layer containing spherical colloidal silica and a hydrocarbon surfactant is provided on the gloss developing layer. |
