PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a biodegradable aliphatic polyester-based resin foamed sheet with which a product expressing a good foaming state can be produced.

SOLUTION: There is provided the method for producing the biodegradable aliphatic polyester-based resin foamed sheet by which the foamed sheet is produced by extruding and foaming a resin composition comprising a biodegradable aliphatic polyester-based resin and an anti-shrinkage agent at a die attached to the tip of an extruder in the condition of 1,000 sec-1shear velocity at the die, wherein the resin composition comprises 100 pts.mass biodegradable aliphatic polyester-based resin, having≥0.5 and≤1.0 cN melt tension at 190°C temperature and≥200 and≤600 Pa s melt viscosity measured under the conditions of 190°C and 100 sec-1shear velocity, and≥0.05 and≤5 pts.mass anti-shrinkage agent.
