Process for Producing Fluorine-Containing Biaryl compound

Provided is a method for efficiently manufacturing a fluorine-containing biaryl compound having a fluorine atom at an ortho position under economically advantageous conditions by using low-priced raw materials. The fluorine-containing biaryl compound can be obtained at a high reaction yield rate by heating and reacting an aromatic boronic acid compound having a fluorine atom at an ortho position or a cyclic trimer thereof and an aromatic chloride represented by a specific general formula in the presence of a palladium catalyst and a tertiary amine compound in a water-containing solvent.
