<p>The present invention relates to an embankment composition using red mud and to a method for manufacturing the same and, more specifically, to an embankment composition using red mud which uses incineration residue comprising large amount of calcium oxide (CaO) having absorption and heating functions and a solidification agent comprising petrolem cokes desulfurized gypsum in order to drastically reduce moisture content of red mud, thereby being able to be utilized for landfill of low agricultural area and as an embankment. The embankment composition of the present invention comprises 10-200 parts by weight of solidification agents based on 100 parts by weight of red mud having 30-70% moisture contents. The solidification agent comprises 10-300 parts by weight of the petrolem cokes desulfurized gypsum based on 100 parts by weight of the incineration residue having 20% or more of calcium oxide (CaO) contents.</p> |
