The present invention improves work efficiency and accuracy in a mapping system for digitizing map information pertaining to topographic and planimetric features, etc., from a survey photograph image. A plane-view image generation unit (20) generates, as a survey photograph image, a plane-view image comprising a mono-image. A stereoscopic image generation unit (22) generates, as a survey photograph image, a stereoscopic image on the basis of stereo-pair images. A display image switchover processing unit (24) switches, in accordance with a user operation, a display image to be displayed on a screen of a display unit (10) between the plane-view image and the stereoscopic image. The plane-view image generation unit (20) and the stereoscopic image generation unit (22) maintain the position of a measuring mark on the screen and the scale and orientation of the survey photograph image when the display image is switched over. |
