<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device capable of uniformly lighting a road surface to be irradiated with illumination light in a tunnel at high illumination intensity. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting device 100 includes a light source unit storage case 110, an upper light source unit 120, and a lower light source unit 130. The upper light source unit 120 includes: a base section 121 for the upper light source element; first upper light source elements 122A; and second upper light source elements 122B.
