<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner height measuring device that determines the height of a toner image formed on a carrier with high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: A toner height measuring device irradiates a toner image with a beam so that the width in the longer side direction of an imaging element in a light-receiving area of reflected light of the toner image in a light sensor, is wider than the width in the shorter side direction of the imaging element, and thereby determines the height of the toner image from a representative position specified by the reflected light to be imaged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
