<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recovery device capable of efficiently recovering a floating article floating on a liquid surface. <P>SOLUTION: This oil recovery device 1 includes a rotatable rotary shaft 11. A porous rotating plate 13 for making oil floating on a liquid surface adhere thereto is arranged on the rotary shaft 11. On one side of the rotating plate 13, a scraper 21 for scraping the oil adhering to the rotating plate 13 is arranged. On the other end side of the rotating plate 13, an air spray means 31 to spray air toward the rotating plate 13 is arranged. An oil scatter prevention plate 41 separately facing the air spray means 31 through the rotating plate 13 is erected on the scraper 21.
