<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking stick with a light which prevents an electrode from being brought into contact with the inner surface of a pipe. <P>SOLUTION: The walking stick with a light includes a main pillar formed by joining together a plurality of upper and lower pieces divided from a lightweight metal pipe. A translucent hole is provided in the side surface of the upper or lower pipe piece. An LED lamp is clamped between bilaterally-symmetric fixing members of synthetic resin and is fixed in the upper or lower pipe piece, so that the tip of the lamp faces on the translucent hole. When the two semicylindrical fixing members are mated together at the plane of symmetry, a cylinder is formed to keep a fixed recess, in which the lamp is housed and a semicylindrical space long in the axial direction, left inside the cylinder. A vertically long printed board is fixed in the space. The positive electrode and negative electrode of the lamp are connected to the printed board and a lead wire is connected to the upper end of the printed board.
