An exhaled breath condensate collection device comprises: a condensation chamber 12 having an inlet and an outlet such that exhaled breath of a user flows through the condensation chamber; at least one cooling element 16; and a frame 18 supporting the condensation chamber and the cooling element, wherein the frame is movable between a first configuration (fig 2) in which the at least one cooling element is operable to cool the condensation chamber to promote the formation of breath condensate, and a second configuration (fig 3) in which the cooling element is displaced from the condensation chamber to encourage condensate to flow into a collection region 17. The frame may have at least two leaves, where the cooling element is supported by the first leaf and the condensation chamber is supported by the second leaf. The device may include a second cooling element. The frame may comprise a concertina shape and be formed from a disposable material. |
