A thrust sliding bearing comprising: a synthetic resin-made annular first bearing body having an annular upper surface and an annular lower surface; a synthetic resin-made annular second bearing body which is superposed on said first bearing body so as to be relatively rotatable about an axis of said first bearing body and has an annular lower surface opposed to the annular upper surface of said first bearing body; a sheet metal-made reinforcement member having an annular lower surface and an annular upper surface opposed to the annular lower surface of said second bearing body; and thrust sliding bearing means interposed between the annular upper surface of said reinforcement member and the annular lower surface of said second bearing body, wherein said first bearing body is adapted to receive at the annular lower surface thereof one end of a coil spring, and wherein said reinforcement member includes an annular plate portion having the annular lower surface of said reinforcement member and the annular upper surface of said reinforcement member, and a hollow cylindrical portion extending integrally from an inner peripheral edge of the annular plate portion in an axial direction.
