According to the present invention, an exercise assisting apparatus for rehabilitation exercise including a rotation-drive unit includes: a support unit; the rotation-drive unit that includes a base part arranged on an upper portion of the support unit, a first rotation part arranged on the base part to be able to rotate around a rotation axis in the front and rear direction, and a second rotation unit arranged on either on one side or the other side of the first rotation part to be able to rotate around a rotation axis in the direction perpendicular to the direction of the first rotation part; and a manipulation unit that is joined with the second rotation part and is formed to contact a body of a user to enable the user to manipulate the same. In a method for rehabilitation exercise, the exercise assisting apparatus, including: the rotation-drive unit including the first rotation part and the second rotation part; the manipulation unit, which is joined with the second rotation part and is formed to contact the body of the user to enable the user to manipulate the same; and a control part that controls rotation of all of the first rotation part and the second rotation part, is used. The method includes the steps of: setting a range of load; measuring a drive load of the first rotation part and the second rotation part generated by manipulation of the user; comparing the range of load with the drive load of the first rotation part and the second rotation part; and correcting the drive load to be in the rage of load by the control part when one of the loads of the first rotation part and the second rotation part is out the predefined rage of load. |
