The present invention relates to a vector and a method for expression of neuraminidase N1 of avian influenza (AI) virus in E.coli, a method for screening an activity inhibitor of neuraminidase N!by using the same, and a novel activity inhibitor of neuraminidase N1 screend by the method. The AI virus neuraminidase N1 is expressed in E.coli to rapidly mass produce the same, the AI virus neuraminidase N1 inhibitor with excellent activity is efficiently screened by measuring and evaluating the activity of the AI virus neuraminidase N1 inhibiting material candidate in vitro, and 62 kinds of compounds efficiently inhibiting activity of AI virus neuraminidase N1 is newly found as a result.
