An amorphous-iron core transformer comprising: windings wound around bobbins; and amorphous-iron cores inserted through the bobbins of the windings, wherein: each of the bobbins is made of an insulating material or metal which has a strength to withstand a weight of the amorphous-iron core, each bobbin has protrusions extending beyond the lengthwise dimension of each winding in the direction in which the amorphous-iron core is inserted through the bobbin, the protrusions are cut out at sides facing inner surfaces of bent portions of the amorphous-iron core, and a cut out portion of each of the protrusions is substantially the same as a dimension of an end surface of the windings in the direction in which the amorphous-iron core is inserted through the bobbin, and each of the protrusions is disposed at a position contacting with an end surface of the amorphous-iron core so that the protrusions support the amorphous-iron core in a state where the windings and the amorphous-iron core are laid down or rotated.
