<p>The present invention relates to an electric vehicle charging system using a smartphone and an electric vehicle charging method and, more specifically, to an electric vehicle charging system using a smartphone and an electric vehicle charging method capable of charging an electric vehicle with a charging device having an individual ID by transmitting a charging request and receiving payment authorization with the smartphone. The electric vehicle charging system using a smartphone includes the charging device having the individual ID and capable of transmitting a charging request and receiving payment information with a user smartphone through a local wireless communication function; a smartphone application installed on the smartphone, receiving the ID of the charging device from the charging device, and transmitting the ID; and an exclusive service server capable of communicating with the smartphone, receiving the ID of the charging device transmitted by the smartphone application, and transmitting a charge authorization code to the smartphone. The exclusive service server verifies whether the device is valid or not by checking the ID of the charging device, authorizes the payment request received through the application installed on the user′s smartphone, and transmits the payment authorization code. The application installed on the smartphone transmits the received payment authorization code to the charging device.</p> |
